So... he's back! 

X seems to have regained his selective memory in the past month and communications have been initiated once more.. You'd have thought that I would know better and that after last time he would have got the message. I mean after all, I was quite explicit in where I wanted him to go and what I thought he should do.. 

Anyway.. he's back and secretly I'm kind of glad as despite the continued non committal attitude and the highly insensitive nature he does make me laugh, and I don't seem to do that very often at the minute...  

I will admit that it is kind of (I'm ashamed to say) my fault that he's back - as I did text him on the evening of my birthday and ask if he was up to much... so it started then and characteristically he is still exactly the same and I feel like I'm living groundhog day with my relationships... 

So it seems I've still not broken my bad habit.. so what do I do - go with it or just commence communication blackout? I don't know if I have that much self control.. time will tell
