I've lost my patience with most people on facebook this week... I looked down my news feed and the majority of people's status updates were about their girlfriends, boyfriends, husbands and babies...

Now I'm all for being madly in love with someone but if you can't even update a facebook status without talking about them there is a serious problem.. Surely when you're in a relationship you shouldn't lose your own identity and thoughts?

My intolerance resulted in the following status from myself:
NWIS Girl 'Doesn't want to read about your gf, bf, husband or baby... I would much rather read about shopping, drinking and dancing... No other status updates need apply.. Thank you kindly'

I thought that I would get some negative feedback on this blatantly intolerant sentiment.. but it seems that many people agree with me.. so why is it that when smart, strong, intelligent individuals turn into strange beings that are incapable of having sensible conversations about anything other than their (insert spouse or child here) when they're in the first stages of love?!

Some may say that I'm being bitter... and I may do the same in the future... if I do - you have permission to quote this post back at me..
